J7VE is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and that we fully comply at all times with the Data Protection Act 1998, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU 2016/679 and all other applicable legislation.

The information we collect and how we use it

When you order become a member we need to know your name and optionally mobile phone number, email address and date of birth.

This data will be used, unless you tell us otherwise, for the following core business purposes:

Accounts or records (ie invoices and payments);
Advertising, marketing and public relations (in connection with business activity).

In practice this means that you may be contacted via email or text message with any of the following:

• Monthly club news
  
• Targeted event invitations or information 
  
• Other general communications giving relevant club news 
  
• Any other use deemed to sit within our data protection statement.
  

As such the following Lawful Bases apply:

• Consent: the individual has given clear consent for you to process their personal data for a specific purpose.

All data is held securely by J7VE.

Data will be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed to external organisations.

Emails may be tracked and stored to ensure that we are better able to tailor our communications.

Please inform us in writing or via email at chris@j7ve.uk if:

We may also contact you by email or text message should we make any changes so that you may consent to our use of your information in that way. Continued club member ship will signify that you agree to any such changes.
